Graduation and looking forward

Next Friday I will be officially graduating from USC! I can’t believe how quickly my undergraduate career went by. Every year seemed to go faster and faster, and I honestly could not be more ready to be done. I am coming back in the fall for my masters degree. However, I will be working almost full time and living well off campus.

On May 31st I am moving to Berkeley for the summer and working at a large biomedical company doing IT and emerging market analysis. I cant wait to take advantage of all the photographic opportunities the Bay Area has to offer. I’m getting more comfortable with film and will be focusing on that aspect of my work. Also, look for more changes to this website in the near future!!! Big things to come.

And because this is a photography website I will leave you with this photo of my fraternity brothers lounging around when they should be studying for finals 😉

I’ve been neglecting my blog…

Senior year of college has really caught up with me this semester. I’ve been working constantly on my honors thesis for political science and deciding which grad school I want to attend. I couldn’t be more excited to be spending two more years as a Trojan! I’m will be getting my master’s degree in public policy from the Sol Price school.

Photography wise, I have been shooting, just not posting. I’ve got a role of Ektar in my camera that I’m about 60% of the way through and then I’ll be trying out HP5 or Neopan. I have a lot of pictures from around where I live in Los Angeles, and also the Hollywood area. I’m taking the train up to San Francisco and then to Portland this weekend with my girlfriend.

I know there will be a ton of opportunities to finish my color roll along the coast and in San Francisco, and then I’d like to shoot some architectural stuff with the HP5 or maybe do some portraits. If I can finish the Ektar soon enough I’ll definitely drop it off at Photoworks in San Francisco. It’s where I send all my film to be developed and they do a great job.

Expect some more photos soon!
